Description

This mead is made by fermenting pure Australian honey using a method as old as history, mead is the oldest fermented drink known to mankind. In ancient times mead was the nectar to the Greek Gods. To the Vikings it was the honeymoon drink, who believed it to have the virtues of an aphrodisiac.

Maxwell Spiced Mead has a bouquet of honey and citrus, plus added zest from the spices, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. These spicy characters are carried through on the palate, filling the mouth with a complex and satisfying array of flavours.
