Rouleur Strawberry Fields-pinot Meunier

Perched on a gnarly slope, that even the most nimble of tractors struggle to climb, Lorenzo’s Pinot Meunier was planted in 1983 with a view to growing premium fruit for sparkling base. Nearly 38 years later and we’re thrilled to be working with this fruit to make delicious (still) wine in the Rouleur style.

Aptly named ‘Strawberry Fields’ this block of Pinot Meunier is nestled between rows of Strawberries - which makes visiting Lorenzo’s farm a joy - particularly when there’s fresh strawberries ripe for the picking (and eating!) 

The first release Pinot Meunier was bottled in early October without fining, filtration and only minimal sulphur added. 

A delicious ‘anytime wine’ with plenty of appeal for those that love Pinot Noir and lighter, prettier styles. Don’t be afraid to chill this one down either.
