Description
The winery Zabù is located in the southwest of Sicily in the municipality of Sambuca di Sicilia. The name Zabù derives from the Arabic name Zabuth for Sambuca from the time when the place was under Arab rule.
The Chiantari is a dense, dark ruby red. The bouquet and aromas of ripe, red fruits of cherries and plums, accompanied by a subtle vanilla note. You notice the wine's six-month maturation period in French barrique barrels. This wine pairs well with lamb and grilled meat, but also with strong and matured cheese.
