Derwent Estate is situated on the pictureesque North facing banks of the Derwent River, just 20km from Hobart. Established in 1993, the limestone based alluvial soils and the river setting provides a perfect micro climate for producing high quality cool climate grapes and premium wine. Produced in our new on-site straw bale winery this Pinot Noir shows rich berry fruit aromas with earthly undertones while the palate shows rich cherry and berry fruits with subtle French Oak.
