Koonara Ezras Shiraz

Description

A cooler vintage in Coonawarra has seen the true cool climate pepper characteristics creep into the Shiraz, which is a character I would love to have every year, as it adds an extra dimension and another layer of complexity to an already elegant wine. A tiny 1 tonne per acre was grown, and aged in 100% new fine grain French Grand Reserve Hogshead (300 litre) Barrels. The 2010 Ezra’s has a massive length of flavour once swallowed of toasty mocha, blackcurrants, cloves and smoked vanilla. Great for charcoaled rib eye with Wasabi Mascarpone.
