The Original Echt Stonsdorfer Schnapps blends the rich aroma of herbs and the juice of bilberry fruit with the mild smoothness of carefully distilled German wheat spirit. The balanced mixture of herbs and handpicked forest bilberries, together with months-long maturing in oak barrels lend a full flavour to the finished product. The fresh fruit taste and fullsome colour is owed entirely to the juice of the freshly pressed bilberries. Stonsdorfer is completely free of artificial colour and flavouring. Served cool, 'Stoni' is an excellent digestive and is famed in it's home country as a most favoured complement to beer.
