Petaluma Coonawarra 1993
Petaluma Coonawarra 1993
POA
Description
A typical Coonawarra bouquet of dark cherry, cassis and spice alongside leafy touches. Soft, fine and supple tannins complement the ripe red fruit flavours with hints of cedar adding great complexity to this fruit driven wine. The higher than usual proportion of early ripening Merlot is a reflection of the cooler than average vintage. 2 years in new Nevers and Alliers oak barriques, proceded an egg white fining and the 1993 Petaluma Coonawarra was bottled without filtration.
