Description

The Tahbilk story began in 1860 with the founding of the Estate and original vineyards. Purchased by my great grandfather Reginald Purbrick in 1925, five generations of my family have been actively involved in Tahbilk bringing a tradition of pride, hard work and a love of good wine to our unique heritage of being the oldest family owned winery and vineyard in Victoria.

Tahbilk 2016 Riesling

With plantings dating back to 1975, Riesling is second only to our iconic Marsanne as being the longest serving Estate white varietal. Characterised by lifted floral and lemon/lime aromas with a hint of talc, the palate is bright and fresh with spice and citrus fruits and a deliciously cleansing acidity on the finish. There is added character and complexity to be relised should you wish to cellar for further 8 to 10 years.
